  • The Annual Youth Diversity Film Festival for Middle and High School students is presented by Billie J. Green, Director of the BHERC Youth Diversity Film Festival. These aspiring young filmmakers study their craft at organizations and schools across the globe.

    This year, YDFF increased its outreach for submissions utilizing Film Freeway, receiving 1877 submissions from the 39 US states and 17 countries. 60 films were selected

  • The Student World Impact Film Festival (SWIFF) is the premier platform for showcasing the artistic talent of student filmmakers from around the world.   • Open to ages 13-18, Luminescence has traditionally been an international teen film festival highlighting local teens in Palo Alto, but for the 2nd year in a row, we will be opening up the local submissions and turning our festival into a celebration of teen filmmakers around the greater San Francisco Bay Area! https://www.teenartscouncil.org/luminescence

  • The platform for independent filmmakers to grow their career in independent film with festivals, showcases, and a global members network

  • The 7th annual Luminescence Teen Film Festival is a short film festival from the Palo Alto Teen Arts Council.

    As filmmakers and artists ourselves, we recognize that there's no better feeling than seeing your hard work on display on the big screen, in front of a supportive audience. Our festival aims to provide that experience for teens in and around the Bay Area.

  • Chabot College Film and Animation Festival is designed for students in the East Bay. The festival will be in-person on the Chabot College Campus. Winning films will be available for viewing online.

    The future filmmakers forum provides a chance for students to showcase their film in a festival environment and to meet other filmmakers.

    Filmmakers accepted to the FFF will have their films judged by industry professionals.

    FFF judges include multiple Academy Award, Emmy Award and Golden Globe award winners.
